Complete the following checklist:

health form

Students without a current health form on file will be sent home from summer rehearsals.

PHYSICAL FORM

Physicals must be completed after May 1, 2026.  Students can use the same physical for UHS athletics.

Notice: We are replacing REMIND with the BAND APP for the dissemination of all band information.

document Absences

If you have conflicts with summer rehearsals due to pre-planned vacations, summer camps, or athletics - directors must be notified.

Notice: By participating in band, students and families are agreeing to the terms outlined in the handbook.

Symphonic Winds

The UHS Symphonic Winds was selected as a 2026 WV Music Educators Association Honor Ensemble.

​

This marks the 7th consecutive year that UHS has had an ensemble selected to perform at the conference, and this years' Symphonic Winds is the 15th UHS Honor Ensemble since 2013.

Summer Camp

All rehearsals will take place at UHS.​

​

Drumline students will have a lunch break during their 9-4 pm weeks.

They should bring a lunch.

​

Students with known schedule conflicts must document their absences before camp or risk losing their position in the ensemble.
